I am a creative & marketing professional with an affinity for marrying imagination with intention. With a healthy balance of both left brain (logic & reason) and right brain (creative & expressive) thinking, I can dial in my skill sets for many different projects, situations and teams to get the best outcome.
I have a diverse background in visual & written storytelling, social media content creation, marketing communications, and project management, with a focus on delivering fresh ideas within project timelines.
I love collaboration and have cultivated and cherished many professional and personal relationships throughout my career, both remotely and IRL.

About Me
Creator. Storyteller. Photographer. Problem-Solver. Entrepreneur. Connoisseur. Dinosaur (rawr!).
These are just a few words that describe me, Regi(na) Strauss. With an active imagination and drive to bring stories to life, I spent much of my younger years involved in theater, language and visual arts. This led to a career in marketing, where I managed communications and creative for various home decor manufacturers, as well as founded my own photography business.
In 2022, I decided it was time to follow my entrepreneurial spirit and made a transition from a full-time corporate career to freelancing and also launched my lifestyle blog and brand, Midpractical Modern.
A life-long Clevelander, I have lived and learned across the greater northeast Ohio area and currently reside in Lakewood, OH with my husband and pup. When not working on projects and photoshoots for my clients or creating content for Midpractical Modern, you can find me reading one of my many book club books, cycling at my local spin studios or planning my next travel or food adventure.
